There is obviously a lot of interest in this area at the moment so this month’s newsletter is solely focused on grant opportunities around combating the COVID-19 virus crisis through innovation.

COVID-19 related grants
Various UK grantor bodies are actively looking for technologies and innovations in the following areas;
Proposals are invited for short term projects addressing and mitigating the health, social, economic and environmental impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak.
UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £20 million to respond to new and urgent needs in UK and global communities during and following the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Scottish Government is making funding available for research aimed at tackling the challenges posed by the current COVID-19 pandemic in Scotland.
BSAC is launching a COVID-19 funding call to support researchers in better understanding and addressing COVID-19 outbreak.
As part of the Welsh Government’s response to Coronavirus, we are looking at supporting Innovative projects that can have a direct impact on the fight.
Businesses involved in the satellite and space industries are invited to propose Demonstration Projects addressing the topics of Healthcare or Education.
LifeArc has made available an initial £10M for the identification of therapeutics that can be rapidly deployed to treat COVID-19.
