Contracts for innovation: net zero living tech trials, phase three
Organisations can apply for a share of £800,000, inclusive of VAT, to develop pre-commercial innovations that support local authorities in meeting net zero goals. Projects must include field trials to test and improve solutions ahead of commercialisation.

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £600,000 for the development of regional demonstrators of drone, electric take off and landing (eVTOL) or zero emission conventional take off and landing (CTOL) aircraft operations in the UK.

Organisations can apply for a share of up to £4.7 million inclusive of VAT, across four themes to develop a prototype, conduct field testing and demonstrate their solution.
Projects can last between three and seven months and must be completed by 31 March 2026.
Funding is through DfT’s First of a Kind (FOAK) programme.
