Mark founded Tatton Consulting in 2013 after 15 years’ experience in the fundraising sector has so far raised over £70 million in public funding from initiatives such as grants, tenders, awards, bids, donations and corporate sponsorship. In total, Mark has managed and secured funding for over 150 projects all over the UK and is now recognised as one of the UK’s leading Grant Consultants. Mark has previously worked for Barclays, Accenture, and international landmine charity, the Mines Advisory Group, at the United Nations.

Lewis Needham

Lewis joined Tatton Consulting in 2019 following a successful career at Barclays Bank. Having graduated Manchester University with a First in Accountancy, Lewis joined Barclays Bank in 2004, rising to become the Finance Manager of Barclays Global Network Technologies.
In total, Lewis has managed operating and project budgets worth £200m+ and is well placed to support clients prepare the financial aspects of their funding application.

Olaf Swanzy
Over the past 20 years, Olaf has worked with an extensive range of SME’s and large companies to advance research and innovation activities through the procurement of grant funding with a particular focus in the Clean Tech space.
He is a mentor to Imperial College as well as an advisor to a range of London based funders in the R&D Grant space. He is also has experience in establishing and managing grant programmes including a regional Clean technology scheme with a grant of budget of £3.5M and a €1.5M seed fund on behalf of the European Commission.

15 years experience as a marketeer and journalist with a focus on AI, science and travel (his personal passion). His flair for creative writing, identifying the ‘story’ and eye for detail make him an excellent addition to the team. Martin previously worked with Tatton back in 2015 and has now joined the team full-time.
Previously with LateRooms, Telegraph and responsible for a number of industry-focused blogs, Martin also runs a small fashion brand in his spare time well worth checking out.

Emma combines persuasive writing ability with an eye for the ‘next big thing’ in the technology space.

Sharon joined Tatton in 2015 and ensures that the whole company keeps turning.
After a 30 year career Sharon plays a vital role for the business, managing all aspects of administration, finance and invoicing for the company as well as reviewing each and every application before it is submitted.
She is also responsible for the delivery of our Project Management and Compliance function. If you have a question about a claim, chances are Sharon will know the answer.
