ACTASAP pilot phase 1
UK registered academic institutions can apply for a share of up to £800,000 to take part in the ACTASAP. This funding is from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) and delivered by Innovate UK, part of UKRI.Innovate UK
Future data services sandpit: transforming discovery and access
Apply to attend a sandpit to develop projects to transform discovery and access to data provided by ESRC’s social science data service infrastructures.ESRC
Aviation’s non-CO2 impacts on the climate 2026
Apply for funding to deliver collaborative research which focuses on the underpinning science of aviation’s non-carbon dioxide (non-CO2) impacts and how they interact with climate over time with the view to identifying benefits, mitigation options, informing industry and government policy decisions.NERC

Farming, growing or forestry businesses based in England can apply for a share of up to £5 million for on-farm trial and demonstration projects, to improve adoption of new ideas or solutions in the agricultural sector. AIRR compute opportunity: AI open access
Apply for between 50,000 and 1,400,000 graphics processing unit (GPU) hours on the Isambard-AI supercomputer for artificial intelligence (AI) related research and development projects. Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, will invest up to £3 million in a design accelerator to support NHS organisations to speed up the development of novel community based patient access models that are safe, effective and resource efficient.

Contracts for innovation: FOAK 2025, personal safety

Organisations can apply for a share of up to £4.7 million inclusive of VAT, across four themes to develop a prototype, conduct field testing and demonstrate their solution. Projects can last between three and seven months and must be completed by 31 March 2026.

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £12.5 million for precision breeding of arable and horticultural crops. This funding is from the Farming Futures Research and Development (R&D) Fund, a part of the Farming Innovation Programme.

DCMS Create Growth Programme Competition 4: large projects

UK registered micro, small and medium enterprises in the creative sector can apply for a share of up to £8 million for innovation projects to grow their business. This funding is from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

Farming Futures R&D Fund: low emissions farming

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £12.5 million for industrial research projects from the Farming Futures Research and Development (R&D) Fund, a part of the Farming Innovation Programme.

UK registered micro, small and medium enterprises in the creative sector can apply for a share of up to £8 million for innovation projects to grow their business.

Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP): 2025 to 2026 round two

Contracts for Innovation: READ-OUT digital cognitive dementia assessments

Organisations can apply for a single award of up to £600,000, inclusive of VAT. To implement and assess a dementia based digital cognitive assessment to be evaluated as part of the Real-world dementia outcomes (READ-OUT) study being managed by the University of Oxford.

Developing semiconductor hardware for critical technologies

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £5 million. These feasibility studies will investigate ways to improve semiconductor design and manufacture within the UK to support critical technologies.
