About the funded R&D project
A Eureka Eurostars collaborative project developing thermoresponsive microcarriers for mesenchymal stem cell culture. Microcarriers give cells a surface to grow on in suspension; making them thermoresponsive allows cells to be released by temperature change rather than enzymatic digestion, which is gentler on the product.
