The total Innovate UK grant across all project partners was £397,437.
About the funded R&D project
Most attention in autonomous vehicles goes to control software. The safety-critical interface between that software and the vehicle itself is equally demanding and largely overlooked, and affordable certified drive-by-wire remains a gap in the UK’s sovereign CAM supply chain. This project develops a universal ISO26262-compliant drive-by-wire platform together with the safety analysis needed to certify it.
