About the funded R&D project
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a hereditary heart condition affecting roughly one in 500 people in the UK and Germany, carrying a raised risk of sudden cardiac events. Treatment options remain limited. This UK-Germany collaboration pairs CardiaTec’s AI and quantum computing methods with innoVitro’s cellular modelling capability to identify new therapeutic targets, combining computational target identification with the experimental system needed to test it.
