About the funded R&D project
COVID-19 exposed how fragile global food supply chains are, and countries with little agricultural land, Singapore among them, have the sharpest version of the problem. This UK-Singapore collaboration developed a hybrid advanced research vertical farming environment, targeting a base level of domestic food security where conventional agriculture cannot provide it.
