Tatton Consulting supported Test Valley-based cell and gene therapy company Laverock in its successful application to Future Economy Investor Partnerships SME round 1, awarded £689,672 by Innovate UK for the project Evaluation of a Programmable Immune Cell Therapy for Solid Tumours.
About the funded R&D project
Three cell therapies are currently NHS approved, all for blood cancers, with more in clinical evaluation. Solid tumours, including ovarian and several paediatric cancers, remain outside that reach. This project evaluates a programmable immune cell therapy, funded alongside private investment through the Investor Partnerships route, which pairs Innovate UK grant with aligned investor capital.
