About the funded R&D project
More than 1.2 million people in the UK live with stroke-related disability. Recovery depends on frequent repetition of rehabilitation exercises, and most survivors never reach their potential because access to supervised therapy is limited. This Young Innovators project developed immersive VR rehabilitation to deliver that repetition at home.
