Tatton Consulting supported London-based enterprise data company Sweetbridge in its successful application to Manufacturing Made Smarter, awarded £3,730,049 by Innovate UK for the project The Digital Sandwich – Digitised Food Supply Chain.
About the funded R&D project
Food supply chains carry a traceability problem that only becomes visible during a recall or a contamination event, by which point the data needed sits across a dozen disconnected systems. The Digital Sandwich built a digitised food supply chain demonstrator with Raynor Foods, using distributed ledger and IoT to make provenance verifiable end to end rather than reconstructible after the fact.
