£15m grant for Nissan, Connected Energy and Altium Clean Technology

Nissan Motor Corporation has received £15 million in government grant funding for its Collaborative R&D project, EV development & advancement of EV battery reuse, recycling & energy balancing technology.

The project is utilising an electric vehicle (EV) programme to build UK research & development capability while collaborating with UK partners on further enhancing EV 4R (refabricate, recycle, resell and reuse) potential. The project is led by Nissan and is bringing together a consortium of partners including Connected Energy and Altilium Clean Technology.
