About the funded R&D project
Laverock is developing a non-disruptive approach to programmable gene silencing using miRNA, applied to immune cell therapy. Silencing genes without disrupting the underlying genome is the technical distinction here, and it bears on both the safety profile and the regulatory route for engineered cell therapies.
