Tatton Consulting supported City of London-based concrete monitoring technology company Cloud Cycle in its successful application to The Sustainable Innovation Fund: round 1 (Temporary Framework), awarded £314,128 by Innovate UK for the project Smart Surplus Concrete Distribution (SSCD).

About the funded R&D project

Over 500 million tonnes of surplus concrete goes to landfill globally each year. At roughly 176kg of CO2 per tonne for structural concrete, that represents around 88 million tonnes of CO2 released for material never used. The project builds a smart redistribution system to move surplus to where it is needed.
