About the funded R&D project
The UK is Europe’s second largest EV market with new petrol and diesel sales ending in 2030. End-of-life batteries are classed as dangerous goods, and moving them safely is a real constraint on any recycling network. This study assessed safe, sustainable transportation for recycling.
