About the funded R&D project
Altilium has developed a hydrometallurgical process recovering cathode metals including lithium and upcycling them into cathode active material. This project demonstrates production of complete EV battery cells using recycled cathode and anode material, which is the point at which the circular claim becomes verifiable.
