Tatton Consulting supported Oxford-based T-cell receptor discovery company Exogene in its successful application to Blue Zone Biomedical Catalyst 2022 Round 1: Industry-led R&D & Innovate UK Smart Grants: January 2022, awarded £349,984 by Innovate UK for the project TCRID – Accelerating T-Cell receptor research and target identification through AI.
About the funded R&D project
Conventional cancer treatment often fails to cure advanced solid tumours, does not prevent recurrence and requires continuous intervention. T-cell receptor therapies offer a potentially curative alternative for cancers such as bone, lung and gastrointestinal. This project applies AI to accelerate receptor research and target identification, and is the earliest in Exogene’s sequence of Innovate UK awards.
