About the funded R&D project
Most genomic analysis concentrates on the protein-coding genome, leaving the far larger non-coding portion underused. Working with Astex Pharmaceuticals, OutSee applies its Nomaly approach and new AI methods to non-coding genomic data in dementia. Dementia covers multiple subtypes affecting memory, behaviour and cognition differently, so stratifying patients into distinct subgroups is the precondition for precision treatment.
