Tatton Consulting supported Epping Forest-based mobility and gait technology company Walk With Path in its successful application to Innovation Loans: Women in Innovation Competition, awarded £1,088,661 by Innovate UK for the project Path Feel – a therapeutic wearable to reduce comorbidities in diabetes and improve quality of life.
About the funded R&D project
Walk With Path launched Path Finder in 2014, a device addressing freezing of gait in Parkinson’s, now available in Europe, Canada and Australia. Path Feel is the company’s second device: a smart insole system that improves balance and reduces the risk of diabetic foot ulcers, a complication that is both common and costly among the UK’s roughly 4.5 million people with diabetes.
